How do I know if my phone system is equipped for a Voice Mail greeting?

Ask your Telephone Service Supplier. If your system does not yet support Voice Mail, you might like to ask for an upgrade to a system which does.

What format do I need?

Usually, Voice Mail recorded greetings are uploaded or entered by your Telephone Service Supplier (TSS).

Consider: Who bills you for telephone services? Simply contact that company and tell them you have ordered a Voice Mail greeting audio recording. Ask them to supply their audio format requirements for that.

If you’re not sure of those audio format requirements at time of ordering, don’t worry. We will request that information later, after you’ve had a chance to find out. So you can still go ahead and order.

Naturally we’ll provide your Voice Mail Audio Recording in the audio format your TSS requests.

Scripting

If you need help writing the script for your Voice Mail message so it sounds “just right”, our fee is $44.
